Having read the testimonials on David’s website we invited David to our home to discuss options for our lounge and hallway. David arrived as agreed armed with a large quantity of samples – and there were many more in his van! Having surveyed the floors and talked through our requirements David was able to make suggestions and advise on how he would go about doing the job. We decided on the Distinctive flooring in tan oak. A quote arrived by email a few days later. Having visited some of the larger showrooms and scoured the internet we had a rough idea of prices and the quote was very competitive. David arrived promptly on the morning of the job and we left him to it for a couple days. We are extremely pleased with the result – the floor looks fantastic. The level of craftsmanship is excellent. We have no hesitation on recommending David."

"I normally don't write reviews or recommendation, mainly because I am too lazy, however I feel the work David has done for me deserves one.
I required four bedrooms, stairs and landing to be carpeted and the entire downstairs to be fitted with Karndean. I had already received quotes from three local shops before speaking to Dave and I’m glad I did. There was a massive financial benefit of buying carpet and floors myself and having David fit them. Overall it saved me close to a grand!!!
The reduction in price did not mean lower quality, the work David has done is outstanding. He spent some time talking through the possible layouts of the Karndean and made suggestions on the best direction to lay the flooring. It is nice to see he was genuinely interested in ensuring the finished job looks a1.
The flooring is laid beautiful and flat; i had a really bumpy concrete flooring which David first screeded to leave a smooth and flat floor. Like a billiard board is the expression I think he used :-)
Should I or my family / friends need any future work performing, I will be endorsing Dave; he is on time, efficient and trustworthy."
